KidzMD Direct Primary Care (“KidzMD”) offers text messaging services to improve communication with patients and families.

CONSENT TO RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES

By providing your mobile phone number and opting into text messaging services, you consent to receive text messages from KidzMD regarding:

  • Appointment scheduling and reminders • Membership-related communications • Administrative notifications • Prescription and refill reminders • Follow-up communications • General practice announcements

Text messaging consent is not a condition of receiving medical care.

TEXT MESSAGE RISKS

Text messages are not encrypted and may be subject to delays, interception, or unauthorized access.

While KidzMD takes reasonable precautions to protect information, patients should understand that standard text messaging may not be fully secure.

LIMITATIONS OF TEXT MESSAGING

Text messaging should not be used for:

  • Medical emergencies • Urgent medical concerns • Time-sensitive healthcare decisions • Submission of detailed medical information

If your child is experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.

  • Replying STOP to a text message • Contacting our office directly

After opting out, you may continue to receive legally required or administrative communications when permitted by law.
