Your brain is the mission control center for everything you do. It tells your legs to kick a soccer ball, reminds your heart to beat, and even helps you come up with your best jokes. At Kidz MD Clinic, we want to make sure your “Think-Tank” is sparking with electricity!

Inside your head, there are billions of tiny cells called neurons. They are like little messengers running back and forth with notes.

  1. Did you know your brain doesn’t actually sleep when you do? While you’re dreaming about flying or eating giant marshmallows, your brain is busy:
  2. Sorting the Mail: It decides which memories from today are important to keep.
  3. The Brain Wash: It literally flushes out “brain fog” so you wake up feeling sharp.
  4. Growth Spurt: This is when your brain sends signals to the rest of your body to grow taller!

🌈 Feeling Your Feelings

Sometimes, our brains feel “cloudy” or “stormy.” You might feel sad, angry, or super nervous. Guess what? That is totally okay! Even superheroes have bad days.

Top Tip: If your brain feels too “loud,” try the High-Five Breath. Trace your fingers like a mountain range: breathe in as you go up a finger, and breathe out as you go down. By the time you reach your pinky, your brain will feel much calmer!

To keep those “neuron bridges” strong, try these super-foods:

Water: Your brain is mostly water! If you’re thirsty, your brain might get “sleepy.”

Blueberries: They are like “brain berries” that help with memory.

Fish or Nuts: These have healthy fats that act like oil for your brain’s gears.
